There are many things you need to be cautious about when you are trying to make money online.
Never sign up for a website or a program that says you can make thousands of dollars over night, none of them work. People post videos on YouTube and advertisements saying "Sign up here and you will make $10,000 over night!" The reason people make these videos are because they are desperate for money and think if they lie they will make money. Lying will not make you money!
Do not sound desperate! If you are building a website do not beg people to sign up for affiliates or referral programs just so you get paid.
ALSO, try not to put products you are trying to sell all over your pagel, especially right when you start your website. Like I said in previous pages you must gain your visitors trust. You do not want to build a brand new website and only have products on it. Once you have thousands of visitors coming to your website and it has been a year or so, then it is okay to add a few products to your web page. Understand, that building a website is a process that will benefit you over time, not instantly. It is kind of like opening a store. You will not make money instantly because people will not know about you or visit, so be patient once you get your website up. It will help you more in the future then it will right away.
Watch out for these scams...
Cash Gifting sites that charge more than $1,000 to join. Those are no good and you will most likely just loose all of your money. Cash gifting evolves referring people and if you join a site that charges $1,000 to join it will cut back on the amount of people who will join for you, equaling less or no money for you.
Get rich quick sites. Any thing that says make a lot of money over night, do not do. The only way you will make money over night is putting work into something.
Pyramid Schemes- Such as sending $2 to everyone on the list and then you will receive $50,000 over the next couple weeks. When those first came out years ago they were genius and everyone made money. Now days no body actually makes money off them. Plus, they are illegal.
Sites that do not tell you much about the program and seem sketchy do not join. It doesn't matter if they say make a $10,000,000 a year. I suggest you stay away from them. Remember there must be some reason they are not filling you in with all the information.
Always remember, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."
